TINYLABS, supported by ADEME and France 2030, needed a single hero film to shift perceptions of lightweight electric vehicles while moving the narrative away from “alternative” and towards something aspirational: beautiful, intelligent, and genuinely exciting to use.
We curated and produced a midsummer sunrise shoot on the Col de l’Ecre, capturing the exhilaration of descending a mountain pass on innovative, ecologically designed vehicles.
The result is a 60-second commercial built around emotion and momentum, designed to make the future feel desirable, not merely responsible.
Strategy & creative approach
Public-outreach films often over-index on information. Here, the strategy was to earn attention first, using pace, light, landscape, and movement to create immediate desire before the message lands.
❋ Lead with emotion, not explanation
Warm-neutral colour, tailored styling, and Mediterranean atmosphere were chosen as a positioning system: understated, intentional, and origin-led.
❋ Prove innovation through real-world feel
The film is structured as a change in viewpoint from stillness and first light to speed and flow, mirroring the project’s goal: changing how people see lightweight electric mobility.
❋ Make perspective the narrative device
The hero film was designed to cut cleanly into shorter social edits while keeping the same visual language, so every version reinforces the same story across placements.
